SAP retail is a very niche set of skills, requiring on top of the standard SAP MM, SD, FI, CO, QM (sometimes PP) modules, an expertise on everything that makes SAP Retail an Industry specific offering: SAP Retail for Merchandise management, and SAP Retail digital core.
In the years to come, for multiple reasons inherent to both the transformation process through which the retail industry is evolving, and the need for existing SAP retail customers to move from ECC to the newer S/4 offering, large SAP Retail transformation programs.
